- Start with the guide.
Give your agent live.link/start.md. It describes the current API, permissions and publishing steps. Reading a URL does not install tools or connect an account.
- Create a scoped connection.
In Settings → AI connections, choose the permissions your tool needs. Store the credential in its secret environment. Keep it out of chat, files and command arguments.
- Save, review, publish.
Your agent can save a private draft through the API. Review it in Live.link, then authorize the audience and publication. Your link stays the same when you revise or restore.
Check your setup.
Terminal and HTTP tools need permission from their host. Each environment is verified separately.

The current file transport accepts 30 files and 3 MiB per version. Build frontend source before uploading; larger staged uploads and customer server processes are not supported by this transport.
